Jeffrey Lipton is a Senior Executive and financial specialist who has spent the last two decades offering guidance and strategic advice in the international investment sector. Lipton heads Fairmount Gloucester Partners, a Barbados-based investment management firm that he founded in 2016.
Lipton’s career started almost three decades ago, after he completed his post-secondary studies which included earning an undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario, a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelors of Law degree (LL.B) from the University of Windsor.
Lipton then went on to add a formal Chartered Financial Analyst designation to his list of accomplishments.

Upon attaining his various degrees and accreditations, Lipton held a legal position at the Ontario Securities Commission. He then worked at the Toronto Stock Exchange, assisting the Exchange on counsel market policy, take-over bid, issuer bid, insider bid and policy creation and implementation.
Following his work at the TSX, Jeffrey Lipton held senior and executive level positions at a number of top Canadian financial management firms specializing in investment and merchant banking. After practicing law as a partner for several years in corporate finance, securities and taxation, Lipton was selected to be President and Senior Portfolio Manager in 1994 at Infinity Mutual Funds, a company offering comprehensive investment services.
From there, in 2000, Jeffrey Lipton headed a leading investment management firm until 2014, when he took over a leadership role at Berkeley Hanover, a specialist offshore Fund Management Group that manages, markets and distributes a line of Non-Correlated Income Funds. Lipton worked to build an investment management team of industry specialists and financial experts at the firm.
In his leisure time, Jeffrey Lipton is an active competitor in the international Taekwondo circle. He is also a triathlete who has competed in the Sprint and Olympic distances series for three decades.
